Psalm 139:13-16

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Another Praise!

Hey friends!  I just wanted to let y'all know that Grace had her first day today without bottles!  She did GREAT!  I think she had about the same amount of liquid that she normally has (which is always under what is recommended, but I've been told is okay).  We offered her straw cup to her very frequently, like every hour, and she did great!  Here and there she would get frustrated, and we still have to use a lot of distraction, but this is a big milestone in her life.

We have worked on this skill off and on for a long time, but it has always been very frustrating for all of us.  So frustrating so that we have started and stopped working this skill many times.  I finally decided that this was going to be a short term goal that we WERE going to meet, and really focused on it during Grace's recent break from school.  Honestly, I was discouraged when she didn't get it in those three weeks.  But I decided to keep trying and with a lot of prayer, patience, and guidance from our therapists, we finally did it!  I am SO thankful and proud!

The next step is to teach her how to hold the cup on her own and get her drink whenever she wants.  Thank you all for your continued prayers for our precious one.  We continue to see God's hand at work in her life, and are always amazed.  :)

And just because, here are some pictures from our trip to the pool the other day!
