Psalm 139:13-16

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Nine Months

Baby girl, you are nine months old!

We had Grace's nine month pediatrician appointment today (Wednesday).  She did great!

Length - 27 in (25th %tile)
Head circumference - 39.5 cm (<5th %tile)
Weight - 21 lb 8 oz (90th %tile)

They also did a fingerstick to get a CBC today.  She only gave a small cry!  She is my tough little girl!

She is in size 4 diapers, and size 12-18 mo clothes.  She is a challenging eater.  She continues to not like fruit, but loves all things vegetables and meats mixed with vegetables (stage 2).  She loves her bottles of formula, and she eats anywhere from 1-6 ounces.  She is totally unpredictable!  I am trying to be patient with her and her eating.

We are working hard with physical and occupational therapy.  We go once a week for each on different days.  She is making progress.  She continues to use her hands more and more.  She is reaching for things like never before and she can sometimes put her paci back in her mouth.  She is very interested in Mardi Gras beads, and any toy that lights up and/or plays music.  She is officially sitting up!  The newest thing with PT is that we are trying to teach her how to sit up on her own (getting into a sitting position on her own).  The most challenging thing with therapy is her head/neck muscles.  They continue to be her tightest muscles, so we exercise them 4-5 times a day.  She HATES it, but I hope she will hate it less and less over time.

We are playing the waiting game to know if she will qualify for vision therapy.  We hope to start it in January.  The best part about it is we won't have to leave home...the therapist will come to us!

We are SO excited about this Christmas!  Not only will Santa come to our house this year, but we will be celebrating with our precious miracle!  :)

We could not be more in love with her!
