We are still here! The reason for a lack of posts is that there has been nothing new going on with our family. Just more of the same. We have been busy with work, school, therapy, and just life. Grace is growing and learning more and more everyday. To be honest, I don't have any updated pictures or videos. :( I promise I'll take some soon!
We've had a few sicknesses/accidents since my last post. One night, Grace fell and hit the back of her head during her bath and was terrified. The look on her face was one of terror. She screamed, but finally realized she was okay. She went to sleep, but woke up after throwing up in her crib several hours later. :( Needless to say, we were worried! Thankfully our (amazing) pediatrician was awake and able to text me back, and told me just to watch her and only take her to the ER if she continued to throw up. Grace did not throw up again, and after sleeping with us that night (for the first time ever), we knew that she was okay. She's also had an ear infection during this month of my blogging break. She's well now.
Grace got new AFO's last week, and they are precious! They have purple butterflies, with purple foam and pink straps. They fit so much better!
I worked on Mother's Day, but Chad and Grace came to visit me and brought beautiful flowers with a balloon that says "Feliz dia de las Madres". I asked Chad if he realized that he got a Spanish balloon, and he said Grace picked it out. This is a joke because Grace loves Dora the Explorer, and will change any toys with the option to Spanish. :) Chad also made me a picture frame/key holder that I love! He did such a great job. (We are thinking of making frames as a fundraiser for Grace's school, so be looking for a post about that!)
Grace is about to have her three week summer break from school. My plan for her break is to work hard on straw drinking, "sitting pretty" on her own (not sitting in the "w" position), pulling up, and cruising. She is continuing to pull up some on her own, she just needs to continue to improve. She's thankfully picking up cruising quickly. Straw drinking is a whole other story. Please pray with me that she will learn this skill quickly, and that we will both be patient during the learning phase. I also plan on having some water fun during her break! :)
I promise I'll write a better post soon! For now, just know we are enjoying life and loving our little girl!

Life is busy everywhere for everyone. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to teach anyone how to use a straw. Best of luck.♥♫
