Gifts from our baby Grace, diagnosed with occipital encephalocele at 20 weeks.
Psalm 139:13-16
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Crawling Update Take 2
So, we didn't quite meet our goal of crawling unassisted by the time we saw our PT again. But, Grace did the best she's ever done for crawling in PT yesterday! Here's the proof :) You can hear me say "Oh, wow" in the background. Ha! I'm very proud of my baby girl!
I heard Grace's story through a friend, and this is my first time reading your blog. What a miracle your sweet Grace is! I know you are so proud! I was born with hydrocephalus and some vision problems also. I am now grown and happily married. There are things I struggle with but there are many more things that I CAN do! I know Grace will grow up strong and she'll be very talented in many things! I'll be praying for your sweet Grace! God Bless y'all! -Mrs. Z.
I am a wife, momma, and pediatric nurse. My daughter Grace was born March 4, 2011, and she is an awesome little girl! She has special needs (see my link "Grace's Story"). Our second baby, Micah, is due March 31, 2014. My prayer for our family is that God would use us to draw others nearer to Him. This blog is dedicated to my journey with motherhood.
WAY TO GO GRACE!!!!! You are getting there baby girl, just keep up the hard work. We love you!!!
